A Few Minutes of Preparation Reduce Stress
An organised training day begins before you arrive at the shooting range. A short check of the details, documents and equipment allows you to arrive calmly, listen to the briefing and gain more from the session.
Confirm the Activity Details
Check the shooting range location, meeting time, type of training and contact details in advance. If anything changes, the notice from the Koach Hatzafon team and the licensed shooting range's instructions are the authoritative sources.
Prepare Your Documents
Bring a valid Firearm Licence and physical identification — an identity card or driving licence. Additional documents may be required depending on the activity, so read the full registration notice.
Clothing and Personal Equipment
For Koach Hatzafon training, prepare:
- Long trousers.
- Closed shoes.
- A comfortable T-shirt.
- Two magazines.
- Drinking water.
- Protective equipment in accordance with the shooting range's and instructor's directions.
If you are uncertain about an item, contact the team before arriving.

Arrive on Time
Arriving early allows you to complete registration, get organised and receive the briefing without pressure. During the briefing, listen to the team's instructions and ask about anything that is unclear.
Choose a Personal Objective
Set one objective for the session: revisiting the fundamentals, improving consistency or becoming familiar with a new training format. At the end, record what worked and what you want to continue practising. This connects every session to a longer process.
Quick Checklist
- Registration confirmation, location and arrival time.
- Firearm Licence and identification.
- Long trousers, a T-shirt and closed shoes.
- Two magazines and any additional equipment listed in the activity notice.
- Water and protective equipment in accordance with the instructions.
- One personal objective for the training.
